VMworld 2006: Partner Day

by @ 10:25 pm. Filed under Virtualization, VMworld

I just got back to my hotel from VMworld 2006 Partner day. I’m kinda tired so I’m not going to go into the details of the sessions I attended today. I’ll do more of that tomorrow. In the meantime read the posts at http://www.gotitsolutions.org/.

Personally I thought the lab manager session was great. I saw Akimbi demo’s before VMware acquired them. I’m glad the’ve expanded the product to support ESX.

Now it’s time to rant. This afternoon at the end of the sessions they loaded us on buses to go to the Partner Day Party in Hollywood. I was shocked that they were not serving food at the event. After a long day, they took us to an open bar and didn’t feed us. Personally I think that’s kind of irresponsible.
