VMware Community Supported HCL

by @ 12:54 pm. Filed under Virtualization, Open Source, VMware

VMware had recently started a community supported hardware compatibility list. This isn’t hardware that VMware themselves support, but hardware that people have tested and been able to get VMware running on.

The Community-Supported Hardware/Software for VMware Infrastructure pages states:

“This is a list of hardware and software components that have been reported to work with VMware Infrastructure, either by the community or by the individual vendors themselves.

VMware does not edit or endorse this list and is not liable for claims made by third parties about hardware or software that is not in the VMware compatibility guides. For more information, please see our Third Party Hardware and Software Support Policy.”
